Red Rugs is a company, which makes artist-designed rugs in limited editions. We decided to merge our passion for great art and for high-quality rugs into one. Thus, translating the unique vision of the artists into skilfully hand-crafted rugs, using only the finest materials, allows us to create a great work of art in itself. We have based our concept on the long tradition of the intersection of disciplines, in this case, fine arts and design. A tradition which comes from medieval tapestries and has been present throughout European culture ever since, the Bauhaus, Picasso, Fernand Léger, Miró among many others have engaged in this practice. We are proud to belong to this tradition and to hopefully contribute to it.
Our editions vary in number, depending on the artist and type of rug and all accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, signed and numbered by the artist.
Our rugs are all handmade in Europe.
